The purpose of the Central Solano
Citizen/Taxpayer Group (CSCTG,
TaxWatchers.org), is to establish a
volunteer, politically non-partisan,
organization of citizen taxpayers in the
Central Solano (Fairfield, Suisun, Cordelia and the valleys to the west,
in California, U.S.A.)
The Central Solano Citizen/Taxpayer
Group is a non-profit civic league
organization as defined under the IRS
Code, Section 501c(4).
The organization is located in the City
of Fairfield, County of Solano, state of
California, U.S.A.
The organization has two main
objectives:
o
Reducing the burden of taxes
o
Advocating open and efficient government
The organization will achieve these
goals by monitoring government agencies
and actions, and by educating the public
about them.
CSCTG successfully sued the City Of
Fairfield to rescind an illegal property
tax measure.
CSCTG actively educated voters who voted
to defeat Measure H (A proposed fire
tax)
Actively participated in and worked to
create more openness in public meetings.
Members have consistently attended City,
School Board, County and State meetings
to ensure that the voter/citizens voice
is heard.
Members have frequently written letters
to the editors and to governmental/board
representatives to state broad
consensus.
